AI in regulated codebases needed something to rule it.

So we built it.

Anthara is the platform we wish we'd had.

We spent twenty years inside healthcare and fintech engineering, shipping code that couldn’t get it wrong. Then AI arrived, shipping faster than anyone could review. We watched the same trade-off play out in every team we knew: ship fast and risk an incident, or move slow and lose the AI multiplier.
Built to hold the line at the moment AI generates code.
[THE THREAD]

AI broke the assumption regulated software was built on

Engineering teams have always faced the same trade-off. Ship fast or ship clean. Pick one.
Sapan and Rushali built
Incubyte in 2020 to prove the trade-off was false. Forty years of shipping regulated software taught us the same thing every time: speed and quality come from the same discipline, not from trading one for the other.
Same belief, different layer. Anthara is the discipline of regulated engineering, encoded into the code itself.
[WHY NOW]

The fix had to live in the codebase

AI puts that same trade-off on every team, multiplied. Code now arrives faster than review. Risk arrives faster than process. The tools we defended ourselves with before AI were not built for this speed.
The line has to hold inside every prompt, every agent action, every commit. That’s what we built.
[WHERE WE COME FROM]

Our Roots

We founded Incubyte in 2020. It’s now a 140-engineer firm shipping regulated software for more than ten engineering teams. Anthara has its own team and its own capital, built on top of what Incubyte has been shipping for six years.
